Megan Gale
Gale, then 18, won a Perth modelling contest. Gale won a modelling competition in Perth, at the age of 18. After a few years in the field, Gale became famous when she was chosen as a model in an advertisement for Omnitel (which is now an Italian telecoms business (now Vodafone Italy). Gale was featured in Omnitel's advertisements until 2006, and was chosen in 2003 by the Australian Tourist Commission as the "face of Australia in Italy.' Gale's covers include Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ and Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale can also be seen in editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has modeled for Italian fashion houses like Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo and has also worked on runways in the fashion houses of Mariella Burani as well as Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a fan of numerous Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She also served as the expert on fashion for the Logies, an Australian television show. In January of 2008, Gale announced her retirement from runway modeling after 15 years and walked the catwalk for her last time a few weeks later, in a David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. In her final appearance she was wearing Wonder Woman's outfit from the Justice League of America movie but it was never released. Gale was back on the runway in March 2011, and concluded Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011.
